The bathroom was a dream! It had a bathtub where I could soak and relax after a long day. As a veggie/vegan, it was important for me to have a space that I could unwind in. Skipton Cottage definitely delivered on that front - I left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated!
Personally, I found the kitchen a bit small for my liking. However, everyone's preferences differ, and others might still find it adequate for their needs.

the location was perfect, just a 10, minute walk from the town centre, and there was even a small enclosed courtyard at the rear of the property. the beds, although a bit soft for my preference, were clean and comfortable, providing a soft cosy experience. the bathroom had recently been refitted with a deep bath and a good, sized walk, in shower. the cottage was clean and comfortable, offering a reasonable value for Skipton. Cons: Nothing 🙌.

The location of this place is absolutely incredible. Just a short 10-minute walk to the town centre and close to the bottom of the high street, so you can easily explore the area without needing taxis. The property itself is spacious and immaculately clean, with a lovely outdoor area for relaxing. The host is fantastic, responding quickly to messages throughout our stay. a great base for exploring the Dales and reasonably priced.

The hotel had a charming and cozy atmosphere, with beautiful decorations that made me feel right at home. The common areas were easy to navigate, and there were plenty of comfortable seating areas for us senior folks to relax and socialize. It was a lovely place for us to enjoy our vacation.
I would have appreciated more assistance from the staff in catering to the needs of senior guests. Perhaps some additional amenities or services specifically tailored for us would have made the vacation even better.

The bathroom was a dream! It had a big, cozy bathtub perfect for indulging in a hot soak after a long day exploring Skipton. As someone who loves relaxation, this made me feel like I was in heaven.
The only downside was that there was only one bathroom. But hey, it's just my opinion, others might still appreciate it!

Spacious, well-equipped kitchen and dining area. The new oven was a bit tricky to master, but once I got the hang of it, I felt like a master chef. The kitchen had everything I needed to whip up delicious meals, and the dining area was perfect for enjoying them.
Cold tap in bath didn't work.

loved the central location, easy walk to town, and nearby supermarket, perfect base for exploring the Dales. Clean and comfortable with a recently refitted bathroom. The small courtyard was a nice bonus. Beds were a bit too soft for our preference but otherwise clean and cosy.
